Help the Blue Earth County Libraries celebrate reading and have some fun by designing a bookmark! Entry forms will be available at our libraries and on our website, and forms will be mailed to area schools. Entries are due by Feb. 15. Please call 304 - 4020 for more information.

We have a great program for your day off from school: Junk Funk Drumming with Marc Anderson! Using found objects, resourced materials, plastic buckets, garbage barrels, tin cans and anything else you can shake, rattle or roll, participants learn hip-hop grooves, African rhythms and other funky beats. Limited to ages 4 and up. This program is made possible with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for library legacy activities.
