In conjunction with the Mapleton Chamber of Commerce's Snowflake Dazzle, the Mapleton Public Library invites children to welcome the winter season with some fun and learning. Stop by the library for a gift bag that contains the picture book Animals in Winter, a sewing craft, and a bookmark with further reading suggestions. Mrs. Claus will be there decorating cookies, too! And we'll celebrate the dedication of the library's newly installed music garden, which was generously funded by the Carl and Verna Schmidt Foundation along with Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for library legacy activities.
